AGUSM Prayer Requests for This Week

  • Pray for U.S. missionaries and their families who are in locations affected by the recent wildfires and hurricanes. Ask God for protection and wisdom as they minister in impacted areas. Pray for provision for those whose ministry facilities were damaged.
  • Continue to pray for U.S. missionaries on college campuses as they build relationships with faculty, staff, and administration. Ask God to open doors. Pray especially for U.S. missionary Marc who is working to start a Bible study for every sports team at the university where he ministers.
  • Pray for U.S. missionaries in Deaf Culture ministries. Ask God to give them wisdom as they share the gospel with those in the Deaf community and train Deaf leaders.
  • Ask God to be with a U.S. missionary family, John and Juliana. Their four-year-old son is experiencing seizures, and Juliana is also battling a severe tick-borne illness. Pray for a healing touch for Juliana and Qorban, and strength for John as he cares for his family.
  • Pray for guidance for U.S. missionaries reaching out to refugees. Ask God to strengthen them as they help meet the resettlement needs of refugees adjusting to a new culture. Pray for wisdom and opportunities to share about faith in Jesus as they teach English as a Second Language classes.
  • Ask God to be with U.S. missionary Dave whose father passed away quite suddenly. Pray for peace and comfort as the family adjusts to their loss.
  • Pray for U.S. missionaries Bob and Dave, who have recently acquired much-needed ministry facilities. Ask God to provide the resources and laborers to accomplish the necessary renovations.
  • Continue to pray for several U.S. missionaries and U.S. Missions staff members who care for ill or elderly parents. Ask God for strength as they work in ministry while carrying this extra load.

“But as for you, be strong and do not give up,

for your work will be rewarded.”
